Farm City Luncheon
Each November, communities across the country come together to recognize the vital connections between rural and urban life during Farm-City Week, celebrated this year from November 19–26, 2025. In Okeechobee, the highlight of the week is the 31st Annual Farm-City Luncheon and Agri Expo, set for Thursday, November 20th, at the Okeechobee KOA.
This annual gathering shines a spotlight on Okeechobee’s rich agricultural heritage while fostering appreciation for the farmers, ranchers, and agri-business leaders who help keep our food supply safe, abundant, and affordable. More than just a luncheon, the event brings together the community in support of the next generation of agricultural leaders.
Proceeds benefit local 4-H and FFA youth clubs, and attendees will have the opportunity to visit student-run booths showcasing hands-on projects and leadership opportunities that agriculture provides. Guests will also enjoy a hearty, home-cooked meal prepared by a team of local cooks, followed by a special presentation.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. on November 20th. Tickets are available from any Kiwanis member, the Okeechobee County Farm Bureau, the UF/IFAS Extension Office, or at the door.
